PLYNYL® | Innovative vinyl floor coverings invented as alternatives to traditional flooring. Now available in w2w and Tile. Chilewich also offers their fabrics as wall coverings and upholstery.

PLYNYL®, because it's woven, has an organic look and feel. When you select it for yourself or your client the natural variations caused by the weaving process should be taken into account. Seams will be visible and there will be shading variations within the fabric. We see this as an advantage similar to wood or stone flooring.

PLYNYL W2W is a woven, vinyl fabric bonded to a soft polyurethane cushion. It’s easy to install and maintain. It’s stain and water resistant and durable. Plynyl w2w has been used in a range of retail locations, residential environments, corporate interiors, educational facilities, hotels, restaurants and spas – nationally and internationally.

PLYNYL TILE patent pending, is also made of woven vinyl fabric and bonded to a heavy-duty vinyl backing reinforced with a non-woven ceramic mesh. Tiles are 18" square and can be laid in any pattern desired, all in one direction, in a “basket weave”, quarter-turned or even in an ashlar pattern.

PLYNYL WALL COVERING utilizes the same textiles as our w2w and tile, and is backed with a non-woven black scrim backing suitable for wall covering. Installation is made with conventional adhesives.

PLYNYL UPHOLSTERY, Plynyl® Upholstery Fabric is a different fabric than that used for flooring and wall coverings. The yarns composing these fabrics have a polyester core which gives the fabric the elasticity and strength needed for upholstery.
